2022 Grammy Awards: Possibly Postponed Due to Omicron

Just when we thought things were returning to normal, the omicron variant has caused a surge in COVID-19 that has affected our lives. Now, the variant may even affect this years’ Grammys. The 64th Annual Grammy Awards is currently scheduled for January 31st at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. In addition to the Grammys being postponed, according to Billboard, the MusiCares gala that was set for January 29th at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and the Recording Academy’s Pre-Grammy Gala, scheduled for January 30th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif, would also be postponed. The Grammy’s were also postponed last year due to COVID-19 as well.
