A 13-year-old boy from North Canton died after falling from a parade float during a Memorial Day parade in Green, Ohio.
The teen fell from the front of a trailer being pulled by a pickup truck and was run over by the trailer’s tires.
Emergency personnel on site responded immediately, and the boy was taken to a hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities are investigating the incident, which the Summit County Sheriff’s Office described as a “tragic accident.”
