A 12-year-old boy was seriously injured in a hit-and-run while riding an electric scooter near Avenue D and Bauman Street.
He was hit by a westbound sedan that fled the scene and is now being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Police are investigating and asking anyone with information to call 911.
