The Young Women’s College Prep Charter School in Rochester hosted its annual “Cool Women, Hot Jobs” event on Friday, inspiring young girls to pursue ambitious career goals. The event featured over 50 female professionals from diverse fields who shared their career journeys, challenges, and achievements with the students.
Principal Sherri Webber emphasized the importance of exposing students to a variety of career paths, particularly for those unfamiliar with options beyond their immediate surroundings. With over 200 students in attendance, the event aimed to broaden their horizons and encourage them to dream big while providing practical guidance for achieving their goals.
Now in its 12th year, “Cool Women, Hot Jobs” continues to foster inspiration and build connections, empowering young women to envision and work toward bright futures.
