100+ Colleges Across NYS Waiving Application Fees for October

More than 100 colleges and universities in New York will be eliminating their application fees for the entire month of October. Governor Kathy Hochul has announced initiative, marking the first time that SUNY, CUNY, and over 40 private institutions will offer free application options to high school seniors during New York State College Application Month.
Governor Hochul: “Education is the backbone of our society, and I am committed to providing opportunities that support every student’s journey to a higher education. Removing financial barriers enables students who may not have considered completing an application due to financial constraints to take the first steps of their educational journey.”
