ZOOM TEACHER COLLAPSES AND DIES DURING CLASS LECTURE

Paola De Simone, 46, a professor at the Universidad de Argentina de la Empresa in Buenos Aries, died on Wednesday, August 2nd.

According to The Sun, in the days leading up to her tragedy, Simone had expressed concerns about her health. The professor had been suffering from persistent Coronavirus symptoms for over a month. She also had complained  She was not feeling very well and was suffering breathing difficulties during the Zoom lesson. Her condition continued to worsen and soon her students were begging her for her home address so they could send paramedics. However, De Simone reportedly managed to gasp, “I can’t” before collapsing in the middle of her lecture.
Writing on Twitter at the end of August, the professor said: “It is very complicated. I have been here [with the virus] for more than four weeks and the symptoms do not go away.”
