Growing up we used certain words not knowing they were bad words. As you get older, you learn that some of those words are offensive to certain communities.
Now, as a kid when we used those words, we didn’t say them with hate or to be offensive to those communities, it was more used as slang.
Fast forward now with a canceled culture you have to be mindful of that or pay the price if you have something to lose.
Here’s a list of some words and phrases that a lot of people used and didn’t know were offensive growing up.

- 4. Cakewalk
- 5. Moron
- 6. Off the reservation
- 7. Spirit Animal
- 8. Hip Hip Hooray!
- 9. Eenie Meenie Miney Mo
- 10. Freeholder
