We Can Now Safely Drink The Water : Boiled Water Advisory Lifted in Rochester NY

Remember that guy who was found in the water? His name was Abduhahi Muya and he had been missing since February 18th, and his body was finally discovered in the Highland Park reservoir on Tuesday. Can you believe he had been in the water for nearby a month? On a lighter note, remember those three days when we had to brush our teeth with bottled water because of the boil water notice? Now that’s is over!
The boiled water advisory was lifted this morning after tested confirmed the water was safe to drink and we can go back to using tap water without any worries.
Mayor Malik Evans is turning his attention to investigating how the man got into the reservoir in the fist place. Check out today’s press conference on the subject.
