Warner Bros and DC Looking For Black Director In Black Superman Film

According to insiders, Warner Bros and DC are committed to hiring a Black director to tackle what will be the first cinematic incarnation of Superman featuring a Black actor. Warner Bros announced in February that celebrated author Ta-Nehisi Coates is writing the screenplay and J.J. Abrams, who is producing the film, is not among the many possibilities being considered.

Barry Jenkins, Steven Caple Jr., J.D. Dillard, Regina King and Shaka King are among the names being mentioned to director. With Michael B. Jordan, the rumored name to be the next Superman. Coates isn’t expected to deliver his Superman script until mid-December. Click Here To Read More.
