Walmart Refuses To Fly Mississippi State Flag

The multibillion dollar corporation Walmart has decided that it will no longer display the Mississippi state flag in its stores.

According to CNN, the store will cease flying the Mississippi state flag because it features the confederate battle flag.

Mississippi state officials, both Democrat and republican have been putting forth effort to change the flag.

Walmart released a statement to CNN Business, saying:

“We know the design of the Mississippi state flag is being discussed by various stakeholders. While the issue continues to be discussed, we’ve made the decision to remove the Mississippi state flag from display in its current form from our stores.”
