“Voices of Fire” Gospel Series Coming To Netflix, Thanks to Pharrell

Pharrell Williams is building one of the world’s most inspiring gospel choirs. With the help of his uncle Bishop Ezekiel Williams, in Pharrell’s hometown of Virginia Beach. Netflix will carry the gospel series, “Voices of Fire”. Williams, who will appear on camera, will serve as an executive producer through his multi-media company, I Am Other. The series marks the latest television venture for the Grammy winner, who has also served as a judge on NBC’s “The Voice.”

“Voices of Fire” comes shortly after news of another potential Netflix project for Pharrell, who is reported to be in the early stages of development with the streaming giant on a feature-length musical about Juneteenth, along with Kenya Barris, who is under a massive overall deal at Netflix. “Voices of Fire” is set to launch on Netflix later in 2020.
