Up in Smoke: Juul Vaping Products Barred from US Markets

After years of debate, the FDA has finally put its foot down on Juul. It has ordered the company to remove its vaping products from store shelves. The decision comes as a result of the staggering rise in vaping in young people. Current FDA studies show that nearly 10.7 million 12-17 year olds vape. Parent organizations welcome the decision, saying that the long term health effects of vaping is still unclear. However, many in the vaping industry see this as an attack on the American people who they believe have just been denied a crucial alternative to traditional tobacco cigarettes.
