University of Kentucky Said “Technical Issue” Sent Acceptance E-Mail To 500,000 Students

Getting an acceptance email or letter, has always been one of the highlights of a high school seniors year. Welp, the University of Kentucky, has some good news for some and bad news for most that received an acceptance emails from them. UK erroneously sent out acceptance emails to 500,000 high school seniors for one of its “selective” College of Health Sciences program. They usually accepts 35 to 40 students a year. The university corrected the issue less than a day later, sending out new emails apologizing for the snafu, blaming a “technical issue,” WLEX-TV reported.
