University Of Florida Students Rushed Off Stage During Ceremony

One thing is clear the University of Florida was not about to let students celebrate in dance as they walked the stage at their graduation ceremony.
Most of the students that were rushed off stage at Saturday’s ceremony were African-American and, of course, it was all caught on video.
The videos went viral sparking outrage and accusations that this was an act of racism because students of color were the only ones aggressively targeted.
The University of Florida issued a statement and the university’s President W. Kent Fuchs issued an apology via Twitter.

The University is proud of the achievements of every single one of our graduates and regrets that any celebration of the day may have been diminished by those monitoring a graduation ceremony.
