Local bands including Upward Groove, Haewa, Tommy Brunett and That Party Band are also confirmed to play, so music and entertainment is guaranteed all night long. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit FeedtheArts.com, a site dedicated to supporting the launch of new musicians, visual artists and writers across the country.
The event will feature a silent auction showcasing dozens of autographed items from A-list celebrity artists including Steven Tyler, Al Pacino, Lady Gaga and many more. Items will be on display for auction from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Proceeds will help Feed The Arts fund even more artist projects in the coming months.
Additionally, special guests will appear throughout the night in person and via video clips to honor the talented arts community in Rochester and congratulate Ms. Monét on her new album release. One such clip features Michael McDonald of the Doobie Brothers.
