TV Sitcom “Good Times” Is Coming Back As An Animated Series

“Good Times” the TV Show is coming back! But, not exactly the same way. The iconic black sitcom will be a new animated series on Netflix according to Shadow and Act. The show follows the Evans family as they navigate today’s world and contemporary social issues. Just as the original show did years ago. Carl Jones from the Boondocks and Black Dynamite will serve as creator, show runner, and executive producer. The original TV series, was the first two-parent Black family sitcom on television. The show aired from 1974-1979 for six seasons.
