Trump Signs Order Banning TikTok in U.S.

President Trump has gone ahead and signed an executive order banning two popular Chinese Apps: TikTok and WeChat.
The ban will prohibit the apps from operating in the United States in 45 days unless they are bought by an American company, such as Microsoft.
U.S. officials are concerned about National Security being compromised by information shared on these apps. The parent company ByteDance says they would never share American’s information with the Chinese government.
If an American company does not take over operations in the U.S. the apps would be officially banned on September 21.
So if you have been putting off your TikTok debut, you may want to post your Savage Dance routine now, or live with regrets later.
Otherwise, just get familiar with the “Reels” feature on Instagram stories. It works just like TikTok – minus the Chinese affiliation.
