Written by on February 27, 2021

Travis Scott has begun working with the Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, The Houston Health Foundation and the Cactus Jack Foundation, with the goal of brining assistance to the thousands of families affected by the cold weather in Texas.

With their combined efforts, they will be able to provide hot meals to 50,000 residents who are doing their best while dealing with power outages and burst pipes.

The coalition of good Samaritans also includes many local organizations, including including The Black Service Chamber, the National Association of Christian Churches and restaurant owners.

The emergency meal plan will be distributing food to families in 30 zip codes that were most affected by the storm, focusing on seniors, high-risk or homebound adults, people with disabilities, those with children under 18, low income communities and those out of work.
