Late Wednesday night, there was a report of a possible tiger sighting in an industrial park in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The initial report came from a Knox County Sheriff’s Deputy and said that he saw the big cat at the Forks of the River Industrial Park on the east side of the city.
Thursday morning, another report came in that said there was a sighting just a few miles away, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA).
The TWRA decided it would lay a tiger trap, but it has been removed as there was no activity.
Residents are being asked to review security and CCTV footage to see if there’s any clue as to where the beast went.
The sheriff’s office has sent patrol units and an air watch unity to continue the investigation and citizens are encouraged to call 911 if the see a tiger on the loose.
