Three Arrested at Hilton School Board Meeting After Not Following Mask Mandate

On Tuesday, three people were arrested at the Hilton Central School District Board of Education meeting after several people in attendance refused to comply with a masking mandate. According to the Hilton district, a group of people became disruptive during their meeting and the meeting was suspended, as well as the auditorium was cleared.
A spokesperson from the Hilton district stated: “These individuals were asked repeatedly to comply and all eventually did except one individual. At that time, the individual was asked to leave the property and refused. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded, and the individual was arrested for trespassing.”
