According to the IRS, another 37 million Americans received their stimulus payments from President Biden’s American Rescue Plan.

Most of the $1400 payments were distributed by direct deposit, followed by paper checks and debit card. The first round of distributions went to 90 million Americans, brining the total up to 127 million payments or $325 billion.

The payments are going to eligible taxpayers who had direct deposit information on file with the IRS on their 2019 & 2020 tax returns.

The second set of payments included around 17 million direct deposits that began processing on Friday. The Treasury also sent out almost 15 million paper checks and about 5 million debit cards.
