Way up yonder in Seattle, Washington a little ol’ place called Starbucks, which originated there, has decided to re-up on the cup. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, folks and philanderers, things are changing for the different. Nothin new here but, here we go!

The company is launching an experimental two-month “borrow a cup” program at a few stores in Seattle. At these select locations, customers get the option to pay a refundable deposit for a reusable cup and return it for the one dollar in-store credit refund, plus a 10 Bonus Stars on their Starbucks account.
See? I had no idea we would be having coffee ACCOUNTS in ’21.
This is all part of a push for the company to reduce 50% of its’ waste by 2030. There’s much more creative branding on the way. CNN has the full story.
