What if I told you a man who was once homeless for a brief time, worked as a limo driver, strip-club bodyguard became famous from viral street-fighting videos and turned that into a professional mixed martial artist? That’s part of Kimbo Slice’s story.
No, he was NOT Muhammad Ali, we all know. So why Blog about him? Simple, because he represented a guy out of nowhere given a chance to be a star. There is a little bit of that in all of us, a chance to prove yourself. His viral that led to a job opportunity. A way out. I had to watch Kimbo Slice fight, hoping he would win. ESPN’s Dan Le Batard called him “one of the 1st Viral Internet Sports Stars.” He was a draw yes, but just like everyone else I wanted to see if he could make it in the MMA World.
