Thursday at the Federal Building it looked like a scene straight out of an action movie. Local, state, and federal agencies along with a bomb squad were on scene for a report of a suspicious package.
At the time a man was acting erratically, as a result, authorities took him into custody and is under psychiatric evaluation. At this time they have not released his name.
The man allegedly parked a vehicle in front of the building and it may have contained a suspicious package.
Authorities evacuated the Federal Building and shut it down out of caution. City Hall moved some employees out of the building at 30 Church Street.
Several streets were closed due to the incident.
There was no bomb or dangerous device discovered and no one was injured.
