Suspension Bridge In China Sways Like Waves From High Wind

Written by on May 6, 2020

You know that saying we will cross that bridge when we get there? Well, there is a bridge in China that if I ever got there I don’t think I’d cross. At least, when it’s not windy I might cross.

The Humen Bridge is in Guangdong, China and is a suspension bridge that goes over the Humen Pearl River. The bridge was designed for wind due to there being a lot of Hurricanes but had to be shut down Tuesday from high winds.

Check out this video of the Humen Bridge in China as it sways in the wind. It literally looks like ocean waves but in the form of concrete. This looks insane, like straight out of a movie or something.

Would you cross this bridge with or without the wind?
