Sticky Lips Juke Joint in Henrietta to host antique sale today

Written by on July 8, 2024

Sticky Lips Juke Joint in Henrietta, known for its barbecue and live music, will host an antique sale on Monday, offering a chance to own a piece of Rochester restaurant history. The sale will take place from noon to 6 p.m., with all transactions being cash-only. According to their Facebook event, buyers will negotiate prices directly with the owner, focusing on serious collectors rather than bargain hunters.

In addition to antiques, the sale will include many of the restaurant’s band posters. Sticky Lips is set to close later this month following the retirement of owner Howard Nielsen. The restaurant had initially planned to close on Father’s Day but extended operations until now. This event provides a unique opportunity for fans and collectors to acquire memorabilia from the beloved local establishment.
