The eagerly awaited Los Angeles wedding of Judge Faith Jenkins and Kenny Lattimore was an exquisite celebration. But when you have Stevie Wonder sing at your wedding, what else would be expected? As the bride walked down the aisle, Stevie sang “Just You and I,” which Jenkins said was one of her favorite songs.
Jenkins described her marriage as having a purpose that is “bigger than just our story.” For those of us who did not witness the wedding ceremony in person, we were able to catch a glimpse of it through photos the bride and groom posted on Instagram. Jenkins also thanked a host of people on Instagram who helped make the ceremony possible. On that list were DeVon Frankin, who officiated, and Sheryl Lee Ralph, who offered spoken words.
Musical performances for the wedding and reception included a live band, a string quartet, and even a flash-mob choir, which we’d love to have heard!
Jenkins’ legal career as a barred attorney in New York also includes highlights such as an MSNBC legal analyst, a legal commentator on CNN and Fox News, and host of her own “Judge Faith” TV show. In July 2020, Jenkins will become the third host of the long-running TV show “Divorce Court.”
