Spike In COVID-19 Delta Variant, Leads To Mask Sales Increase

With the delta variant of the COVID-19 continuing to surge. Experts have predicted some school supplies could sell out of face masks. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated its mask guidance on July 27th, recommending that people vaccinated for the coronavirus start wearing masks indoors again in areas with substantial or high transmission. That same week, mask sales increased 24% over the following week, according to the Adobe Digital Economy Index.
