Solidarity Sundays at Aenon Missionary Baptist Church in Rochester

Dr. Lesli Myers-Small, the RCSD superintendent kicks off the month-long series focusing on elevation and advancement for the Black community. Held every Sunday in August from 9-9:30 a.m. on the front lawn of Aenon Missionary Baptist Church on Genesee Street. Meetings are to promote public engagement, create a space to work on institutional transformation led by the community, and bring awareness to the barriers that the Black community experiences.

Next Sunday, August 9th, Rochester City Council member and former president of the Rochester City School Board, Malik Evans, is scheduled to talk about the Black community and economics.
