Simone Biles, the greatest gymnast of all time, has landed the cover of Vogue Magazine!
Biles has 19 Gold medals (25 overall World medals), and this upcoming issue of Vogue should be celebrated as another great achievement.
.@Simone_Biles stars on the cover of our August issue! With the 2020 Olympics postponed and a shadow hung over American gymnastics, Biles–who is widely regarded as the greatest gymnast of all time—has had to be resilient as never before. (1/5) https://t.co/fPoNKoDNwD pic.twitter.com/6y4RxtMYAf

Only a small, exclusive group of black female athletes have ever graced the cover of Vogue, that includes Serena Williams and Marion Jones who appeared in 2001.
Her interview touches on everything from the Olympic postponement to the current Black Lives Matter movement and her battle with depression after the Nassar trial.
While some people on Twitter are criticizing Vogue for not hiring a Black photographer for this shoot, I’m mad at the editor for failing to crop out the trees and the crease in the set. SMH

Make sure you grab a copy of the epic Biles issue of the magazine when it hits selves next month. Simone Biles on the cover of Vogue will inspire anyone with an ambition to be the best at what they do for years to come.
I’ll leave you with this quote that left reporters speechless after comparing Simone to male athletes;
“I’m not the next Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps. I’m the first Simone Biles!”
