Shops and Grocery Stores Are Assigning Limits On ‘Stockpile’ Items

Written by on November 8, 2020

Grocery store chains all over the country are beginning to bring back limits on certain ‘Stockpile’ items, as coronavirus infection rates begin to climb back up.

Kroger gave a statement to USA Today saying that they have “proactively and temporarily set purchase limits to two per customer on certain products.”

Items that fall into this category include toilet paper, paper towels, disinfecting wipes and hand soaps.

While this probably comes as a shock to other states across the country, Wegmans has had a limit on toilet paper and paper towels since May and has said that they will continue to maintain them.
