Senator Chuck Schumer Pleads With Samsung To Open Factory In Genesee County

Last month, the Wall Street Journal did a piece about Samsung scouting out locations for a $17 Billion factory. These locations included Arizona, Texas and Genesee County, New York.
Sources say that it would likely take millions of dollars of state funding to secure the position, but NY State Senator Chuck Schumer is doing is best to decide for New York.
Senator Schumer gave a prepared statement, saying:
“I stand ready to help Samsung harness all that the federal government has to offer to continue to lead the tech industry and position New York as a global hub of semiconductor manufacturing.”
