Sam Jay Gets Late Night Talk Show Deal From HBO

SNL writer and comedian Sam Jay has announced that she will be getting her own weekly late night show on HBO, produced by Prentice Penny from “Insecure.”
Jay started with SNL back in 2017 and her comedy special aired on Netflix in August of 2020.
The show will feature stories and commentary about the current events in urban and world culture each week, including race, politics, sexual identity, science, celebrity and more.
Jay commented, saying:
“I’m really excited to bring my point of view to late-night television and have felt nothing but support creatively from HBO and A Penny For Your Thoughts, so everyone wear your mask and vote so I can make my TV show.”
