Russian Woman Suing McDonald’s Because Of Advertisement Causing Her To Break Religious Fast

A woman from Russia is suing McDonald’s after she saw an advertisement of a cheeseburger and chicken nuggets and that the advertisement calls her to break her fast during lent leading up to Easter.

The woman said she had been doing an excellent job with staying away from meat and other animal products during her fast back in 2019.
Reports say the woman was about a month into her diet until she saw the McDonald’s advertisement that caused her to break her fast.
Now the woman is suing McDonald’s for (1,000 rubles) which is equal to about $14 dollars in US currency.
According to reports The woman said in the lawsuit the axes of McDonald’s is a violation of the consumer protection law and ask the court to investigate and if any violations have taken place McDonald’s LLC so have to compensate her from moral damages of 1,000 rubles.
She should’ve just went for the cool million.
