Rochester Prepares for 125th Lilac Festival

As the weather warms up, we are getting ready for Rochester’s crown jewels, Lilacs! With the big festival coming up next month, many want to know if the lilacs will bloom in time- and experts shared their thoughts. Mark Quinn, Superintendent of Horticulture, stated: “The collection’s in great shape this year, there’s going to be a lot of flowers on the plants. We are anticipating it being right on time during the festival.”
The 125th Lilac Festival starts May 12 at Highland Park.
