Rochester International Film Festival Goes Digital
Written by Site Hub on June 22, 2020
The Rochester International Film Festival was started by Kodak engineers in the late 1950’s according to board member Josephine Perini.
This year will mark the 62nd year in a row that the festival will be held but it will also be a technological first for the entertainment itself.
Due to the coronavirus, movie theaters have been closed for some time. Even though they will be opening up, they will still be enforcing social distancing which would make it hard for the viewers to have the same experience.
The festival will be virtual, and come at no cost, although donations are always welcome.
Most films are 10-15 minutes long, but can be as short as 2 minutes or as long as 30 minutes.
The festival started Sunday and will go until June 27th. Check out their website for all the details!
