Rochester Couple Loses Everything In A Fire While on Honeymoon

Newlyweds Kera and Adam Nugent went away to Miami, FL last week to celebrate their honeymoon, but came back to find their home tragically destroyed by a fire.
After getting married in September of 2018 the couple decided to wait six months to go on their long awaited honeymoon. While on their way to dinner, the Nugents received a phone call from a friend who saw their Monroe avenue apartment building ablaze.
The building housed two other apartments but all residents were able to escape safely. The Red Cross is assisting everyone displaced by the fire with temporary housing.
Close friends and family have set up a GoFundMe for the couple who lost their cats and many items of sentimental value.
