Rochester City School District Announces It May Begin Hybrid Learning For High School Students As Well

Written by on January 2, 2021

According to an announcement by Superintendent Lesli Meyers-Small, the Rochester City School District is planning on changing some of its proposals that were mentioned last week.

District spokeswoman Marisol Ramos-Lopez wrote in a text message Tuesday night:

“There are no easy answers relative to the reopening of schools during this pandemic. The Rochester City School District has heard multiple perspectives relative to reopening from students, parents and staff. Despite the low number of students who selected the hybrid model, Dr. Myers-Small and her team are working to bring secondary school students back in a two-day in-person hybrid model.”

As of right now there is no timeline established, but details should be coming soon.
