One of the most memorable contestants on RuPaul’s Drag Race Chi Chi DeVayne has passed away after being hospitalized with pneumonia.
In July, DeVayne was admitted to the hospital for a biopsy after suspected kidney failure.
The 34-year-old Drag Queen known offstage as Zavion Davenport, shared a selfie from her hospital bed on Saturday; telling her fans
“Hey guys, I’m back in. Keep me in your prayers, I’ll be back soon.
Currently battling pneumonia so I’ll be MIA for a few more days.”
She died five days later.
