Ride Share Companies Faces Backlash After Price Surge After Subway Attack

Lyft and Uber received backlash when they spiked prices after the subway attack in Brooklyn Tuesday morning. After the price surge both companies said they turned off their algorithm a short time later. When rides are in higher demand  That’s when the algorithm kicks in and prices soar.
