Red Wings Welcomes NY’s New Outdoor Venue Guidance

Written by on May 6, 2021

On Wednesday, Governor Andrew Cuomo said that starting May 19, vaccinated spectators will be able to be seated normally, with no more social distancing. Younger Spectators that are currently ineligible for the vaccine will still be able to sit with vaccinated family members. Those fans who are not vaccinated who are eligible for the vaccine will be required to sit in designated areas where six-foot distancing can be maintained. Everyone is required to wear a mask.

Rochester Red Wings General Manager Dan Mason is very excited about these changes, stating “It’s going to be the party we’ve all been waiting for in Rochester for a long time. Things just got a whole lot easier for our fans who attend Red Wings baseball games, and that’s a great thing for our community, great things for our fans and a great thing for the Wings, for our ball club.”

The opening for the Red Wings is May 18th. More information for tickets and season ticket holders will be available shortly.
