Record Numbers Of Registered Voters In Monroe County

There are more registered voters in Monroe County ahead of the 2024 general election than ever before. According to the Monroe County Board of Elections, there were 497,831 registered voters as of Tuesday. That number was 489,352 during the 2020 election, but had fallen to 482,238 in 2023. The board of elections also announced it received 14,553 mail-in ballots as of Tuesday. About 20,000 mail-in ballots were returned in total for the 2016 election.
