Protester In Charlotte Shot Governor Declares State Of Emergency

After demonstrator in Charlotte, North Carolina was shot critically injured durning protest Governor Pat McCrory declared a state of emergency in Charlotte. The protest came after the death of Keith Lamont Scott who was shot and killed by police.

Charlotte Police report four officers sustained injuries non-life threatening injuries during the demonstrations. The National Guard has been deployed.
