Prom Night Ends in Gunfire

For students at Antigo High School in Wisconsin prom night will definitely be memorable, but not for the reasons anyone would expect. A night that is supposed to be a highschoolers dream come true quickly turned into a nightmare, when a gun man opened fire on teenagers exiting the dance before being shot by police.
The gun man, identified as 18 -year old Jakob Wagner, attended Antigo High in 2015, but was still haunted by his experiences as a student. Wagner was constantly bullied by his peers for his bad hygiene, and recently broke up with his girlfriend, who is a current Antigo High student. Depressed, the teenager arrived to the dance with a high-powered rifle, that he posted a picture of on Instagram months prior, with intent of opening fire on everyone inside the prom.
The two teens that Wagner did manage to injure are expected to live.
Classmates remember him as a kind “nerdy” person who always seemed happy.
