“Pose” star Dominique Jackson will host the fifth annual Elizabeth Taylor Ball to End AIDS on September 26 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The event, organized by the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) and supported by Gilead Sciences, will honor Gap Inc. president and CEO Richard Dickson with the Elizabeth Taylor Commitment to End AIDS Award.
Dickson has been a longstanding advocate for those affected by HIV and AIDS, contributing significantly through his support of the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation and his service on various boards, including the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. As CEO of Gap Inc. since August 2023, he leads a portfolio of iconic brands, including Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta.
ETAF executive director Catherine Brown praised Dickson’s dedication, noting his impactful leadership in business and philanthropy. The ball will feature a seated dinner, a live auction with Christie’s, a live performance, and a viewing of items from The Elizabeth Taylor Archives. Jackson previously hosted the New York installment of the ball earlier this year at the Rainbow Room.
