Poll Shows 2/3 Of Millennial Regret Being Homeowners

Written by on June 4, 2021

A survey that was conducted among Millennials shows that two-thirds of Millennials regret being homeowners.

The survey polled more than 1,400 Millennial homeowners. Some of the regretted reasons were because of expensive maintenance cost and others say because they overpaid for their house.
Some Millennials feel that they were rushed during the purchase process of their home because of the cut-throat market which ended up into bidding wars.
The survey also showed that first-time buyers are more likely to buy a fixer-upper house online which show some has hidden cost on those homes.
I know some people personally who are on the fence with buying a home.
The prices are right now is it worth paying over $100,000 for a home in a neighborhood that isn’t safe?
