Panasonic Corporation, a Nationally recognized Japanese based electronics company, has opened an office in downtown Rochester on the 21st floor of the First Federal Plaza building.

The company hopes to fill their many positions and “create with some of Rochester’s young tech minds.”

“One of the things Rochester needs to work on is keeping the fantastic talent that is being taught and grown in schools like U of R and RIT right here in downtown Rochester. That’s one of my main goals. We would like to engage even more tightly with RIT, U of R and a number of the other companies to bring those students directly in,” said George Daddis, the Industrial Internet of Things for Panasonic.
