The opening of the Maplewood Library’s temporary location has been postponed to Wednesday, July 10, as renovations begin at the main site. Originally set to open on Monday, the temporary location at the former Holy Rosary Church will provide regular library services, including access to computers, the library collection, copier, fax machine, and programs.
The temporary library will operate from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
The renovations, funded by a $175,000 grant, will add over 2,600 square feet to the library, featuring expanded spaces, a new entrance, and classrooms. The main library was initially scheduled to close on June 3 for the renovation project.
