Ontario Beach Hours Extended Monday Due To Heat

Ontario Beach a.k.a. Charlotte beach swimming hours will be extended Monday because of the hot weather.
Temperatures are expected to hit 92 degrees with the heat index reaching into the upper 90’s nearing 100 degrees.
Swimming has been extended an hour. Monroe County Officials will have lifeguards on duty until 8pm.
Normal hours for public swimming are 11am – 7pm through Labor Day.
Swimming is allowed at Ontario Beach only when lifeguards are on duty.
