‘One Night In Miami’ Sets Release Date For Christmas Day 2020

On Christmas day, 2020, Regina King’s directorial debut: One Night in Miami will be released to select theaters.
The film was written by Oliver nominated Kemp Powers and is based off his 2013 screenplay under the same name.
After the initial select theater launch, the film will be released globally on Amazon’s Prime Video platform. The movie received high praise from both the Toronto and Venice Film Festivals and is a crowd favorite for an Oscar nomination.
King commented on the situation, saying:
“To complete and release a film within the same year is a difficult task. We welcomed the challenge because we knew now was the time for this film to be released. Amazon fully supported our intention and I could not be more excited this prescient story will be seen across the globe.”
